Sword Art Online, hardly waiting for the new season !!

I bet you that even someone who never like anime before will be moved when they watching the Sword Art Online series. The commercial wide success of Sword Art Online (known as SAO) anime is based on manga made by Reki Kawahara. Although the manga is not really good in drawing aspect, but the storyline has a rich and adorable plot that attract many fans around the world.

The main character is Kirigawa Kazuto, a normal high-schooler who like playing online game with VR technology. The story of SAO start when the massive multi-player new game release, 10.000 player trapped inside the game unable to logout. 

The game turning into chaos when the developer master, Kayaba Akihiko made sudden announcement that if a player death in the gameplay will kill their body in real world. It is possible because the Nerve Gear helmet they use for gaming have the ability to emit a deathly wave that ruin the brain of real body of player. The only way to free them from the game is by defeat the final boss in 100th floor of Aincrad.

Kirigawa Kazuto (as Kirito in the game) with his experience in beta-testers become the top-tier along with his newly meet Asuna, and they become couple in the storyline. 

SAO ended when Kirito figured the truth of Kayaba Akihiko who played in the game as well as Heathcliff, leader of strongest guild "Knights of Blood" where Kirito and Asuna become their vice leader. Even Kirito underpowered by mighty defense of Heathcliff, he is somehow manage to give the last hit upon Heathcliff with Asuna's sword.

With the defeat of Heathcliff who supposed to be the final boss in 100th floor, the game ended as aincrad world collapse. 6.147 player who still survive after 2 years spending in SAO manage to logout and back to real life.

The series of SAO have 14 episodes, as the story continued in Alfheim Online (ALO) where Kirito have to play another VR game in order to find Asuna who still trapped in VR world.

In the Season 2, the story cover the new VR game called Gun Gale Online (GGO) and some side story in ALO 2, where Kirito and friend still playing the online VR game and live their normal live.

With total of 25 episodes in season 1 and 24 episodes in season 2, Every fans of SAO series waiting for the release of season 3. Some spoilers predict that season 3 will release in end of 2015, but maybe it came out even later in summer 2016.
